FAISALABAD: Two more death row convicts were hanged to death in Faisalabad Central Jail early Friday morning, local media reported.
According to reports, two death row convicts namely Sajid alias Taru and Muhammad Akhtar alias Haseena were executed in the Jail in separate cases of murder.
Akhar was awarded death penalty for raping Tassawur Bibi and killing her brother-in-law in 1999. Sajid killed school teacher Shahida and injured her husband Azhar back in the year 2000.
The convicts went through medical examination and also met their relatives before their execution.
