Independence Day!!

AoA.

Pakistan today is celebrating its 69th Independence Day with due reverence and paying its tribute to the memory of the country’s founder Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Appearing on the map of the world on the 14th of August 1947, this sovereign state has 1046 kilometer coastline along the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman in the south and is bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west, India in the east and China in the far northeast. It safely has a unique strategic location by lying between the important regions of South Asia, Central Asia and the greater Middle East.

The region forming modern Pakistan was the site of several ancient cultures including the Neolithic Mehrgarh and the bronze era Indus Valley Civilization. Subsequently it was the recipient of Hindu, Persian, Indo-Greek, Islamic, Turco-Mongol, and Sikh cultures through several invasions and settlements. As a result the area has remained a part of numerous empires and dynasties including the Indian empires, Persian empires, Arab caliphates, Mongol, Mughal, Sikh and British Empire.

Pakistan is the home of world class heritages, highest mountains, many rivers, breathtaking beautiful places. This is very little about my country and I love Pakistan.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
